Call for Nominations: AWIS-NCC 30th Annual Awards Gala

Dear AWIS members,

Each year, the AWIS Northern California Chapters proudly honor three exceptional women who have shown outstanding dedication to mentoring others while achieving excellence in their own careers. We are excited to celebrate this year’s awardees, as well as all those who support women in STEM, during our 30th Annual Awards Gala.

We seek your valuable input in nominating candidates for the following awards:

Ellen Weaver Award: For a junior researcher (less than 10 years) in academia or industry.
Judith Pool Award: For a senior researcher (more than 10 years) in academia or industry.
Sherri Wilkins Award: For a woman who continues to promote career development for women scientists while her professional role has moved her to other spheres of influence such as administration, management, or any non-research role.
